Kentucky State Licensing Regulations require that any individual who shall be working with children submit to a Criminal Records Check, and/or a Criminal Abuse and Neglect history, and a Tuberculosis (TB) skin test. Therefore, students will be required to submit this documentation before taking applicable courses for the Associate in Applied Science in Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education program. Students are also required to carry liability insurance in the courses which require field experience. This is available through the college. Admission to IECE courses may also be dependent upon class availability.

Individuals who are currently working in child care 20 hrs. or more a week may qualify for the Childhood Development Scholarship. Details are available at http://www.kheaa.com, or contact your local child Care Resource and Referral agency. Use our Links button to find the number.
