Areas of study include the application of the nursing process with the childbearing family focusing on health promotion and the care of family experiencing interferences with basic human needs. Emphasis is on the nurse as a provider of care. Credit not available by special examination. Lecture: 4 hours Prerequisite: Admission to the Associate Degree Nursing Program. Completion of NR 115, BIO 137, BIO 139 and **Mathematics course 109 or 111 or higher with a grade of "C" or better. PSY 100 or PSY 110 and PSY 223. English101 and *Computer Literacy. Prior to or concurrent with English 102. Concurrent with NR 125, NR 245.
