NR 245 Nursing IV

First Year nursing students learning to do dressing changes in skills practice lab

 

Areas of study include the application of the nursing process to health promotion and interferences with the ability to meet selected basic human needs for child/adult clients. Emphasis is on the nurse as a provider of care. Credit not available by special examination.

Lecture: 2 hours
Laboratory: 6 hours

Prerequisite: Completion of NR 115 and BIO 139 with a grade of "C" or better, PSY 223 and Computer Literacy; at least a 2.0 cumulative grade point average. Co requisite: NR 235 should be taken concurrently.
