Continuing your Education

After you complete an AAS in EET, ET or IMT, you can continue your education by completing a Bachelors of Science in Industrial Technology (BSIT) Degree with EKU in about 3 more years. In additional to the 2 years of technical content there are a year's worth general-education degree requirements that all students must meet to earn a BS degree. With the tuition cost of EKU at about twice that of BCTC, the most economical means of doing this is to complete the Associates of Science degree (AS) at BCTC (in addition to the AAS Degree), and doing a "Block Transfer" to shorten your time at EKU to about 2 years.

In general you may want to do the following:

Complete the AAS, then complete the AS (taking additional math, science and social-science and humanities classes), then transfer to EKU.
